School Counselor Assessment and Appraisal

At the end of each school year, I use the Professional Standards & Competencies Assessment tool to take an honest look at myself and my performance of my jobs in order to improve themselves.  I encourage my administrators to use it to select our future school counselors and to help them effectively evaluate me and my colleagues. Our school counseling programs uses this to keep our programs on track by making sure our counselors are the right people for the job.
